New Vista Montessori School

My daughter adores New Vista Montessori School.  From her first day we were welcomed with open arms and felt like we had found the perfect place for her.  We utilize the aftercare program which she has loved; they do so many fun activities  We have really enjoyed having access to the all of the cultural events at Jefferson Center and activities at the YMCA next door.  Not many preschoolers get to have those advantages!  As a parent,  it is so nice to know that your child is an environment where she is happy and well taken care of combined with all of the opportunities to learn academically, culturally, and physically"

We have been thrilled  with our daughter's social and academic growth at NVMS.  She entered school as a shy two-year old and now will speak confidently to anyone she encounters.  Her growth in language arts  and math have also been impressive.  There have been times when she comes home with science knowledge that my husband and I didn't even know!  NVMS is an incredibly welcoming place.  It is obvious that the teachers and staff love what they do and care about each child they work with.  The teachers really work to tailor instruction to every student's individual needs.

We are so excited to be at NVMS!   We have loved every moment at the school and look forward to the rest of the year (although dreading this coming June when our son graduates.)  It has been such a magnificent journey to watch our shy little 3 year old grow into a very confident kindergartner - who is  READING!  This is all thanks to the wonderful people at New Vista Montessori School.

We did a lot of research on area daycares and schools before deciding on New Vista for our daughter.  We wanted it all! First, we wanted kind and caring staff who would love and nurture her. Secondly, we wanted her to be a kid and run and play while she was also learning and being challenged in an age-appropriate way.  New Vista has given us everything we wanted and then some! Our daughter loves going to “big girl school” and always comes home talking about her teachers and the fun she has had.  We can also see how much she has learned and developed in the few short months she has been with them. We are extremely happy with our choice and know our daughter is too!
