Carolyn Wilson

Mrs. Wilson received her B.S. in Education from Concord University, magna cum laude. She attended CVCC, UVA, and Roanoke College for Va. certification to teach Early Primary. In 2000 she received her American Montessori Society credential in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Wilson trained with the North Carolina Center for Montessori Teacher Education. She has 20+ years of experience working with young children in public and private schools.

Sarah Baldwin

Ms. Baldwin earned a B.S. in Child and Family Studies from Berea College. She trained with the North Carolina Center for Montessori Teacher Education and earned her American Montessori credential in 2005. She has been a lead teacher at Salem Montessori School, a teacher's aide at Round Hill Montessori, a nanny, and director of before and after school programs at YMCA Magic Place. She is also trained in music and has been our own music teacher at New Vista since January of 2008. She has been responsible for many "bring the house down" performances with our students, and we look forward to many more!

Jennifer Deeds

Mrs. Deeds has been a lead Montessori teacher since 2005 and was an aide in a Montessori classroom for 4 years before that; she is trained in Early Childhood Development. She has also been a private nanny and provided childcare in her own home. Mrs. Deeds  received her Montessori Early Childhood credential in 2009. 

Ashley Morris

Miss Ashley joined our team in 2010 and has done an excellent job of providing the strong foundation needed to promote our 2s and 3s into the older classrooms.  She has an extensive background in caring for children.   She blends a "cup" of education, a "cup" of nurturing, and a "cup" of love and kindness to create an inviting and welcoming environment for all of our youngest friends.
